Types Of Programs

The Yukon Nominee Program involves only four programs, which are

Skilled Worker Program

This enables the Yukon province employers to facilitate and sponsor the Canadian permanent residency of immigrants. The foreigners are required to have work experience bordering on occupations classified under the National Occupational Classification (NOC) level A, B or 0. You need to Have at least one year experience for the job position, Must be at least level right of the English as the second language (ESL) and must possess a valid work permit.

Critical Impact Worker

This program is specifically for foreign workers that are semi-skilled and low-skilled of a job that is highly demanded. The applicants must receive a job offer from a Yukon employer timing order to be eligible for this program. An immigrant must have a job experience in the job position offered. He/she must be English or French savvy.

Business Nominee

The gate to Yukon province is open to foreigners who have business experience to start or acquire a business in Yukon through this program. You need to have a minimum net worth of $250,000 and have an investment valued at least $150,000 to be qualified for this program. You have to have 5 years of entrepreneurial experience and sound communication skills in English or French.

Yukon Express Entry (YEE)

Under this program, increased and enhanced allocation is given to the in Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) Express Entry pool. This allows Yukon employers to recruit a workforce that is lacked in Yukon.

The immigrants must have working experience to occupations that fit into the National Occupational Classification (NOC) level A, B or 0. These foreign persons are required to have an online profile registered in the Express Entry immigration selection system.

Processing Time of Yukon Nominee Program

Processing of applications is done on a first-come-first-serve model. For Skilled Worker and Critical Impact Worker applications, once an application is submitted it takes up to six weeks to complete processing. The duration of processing may increase depending on the volume of the application package received. Once is processing is complete nominated candidates can commence for Canadian permanent residence and citizenship
